Optotec was founded in 1992 as a spin-off of Sirti
to provide fibre optic solutions for the telecommunications
market.
In 1997, Optotec was acquired
by the NTET Group and consolidated its presence
in the local market by becoming leader in optical
passive components and infrastructure accessories.
The company provides fibre optic
solutions and technical expertise to the major
network and mobile operators, multi-utilities,
OEMs and installers.
Optotec's main market is Italy,
however our activities continue to grow over
Europe, thanks to the great collaboration with
our foreign partners.
Optotec's Head Office is based
in Garbagnate Milanese (Milan) with production
facilities both in Garbagnate Milanese and Catania
and now employs 70 people.
Optotec has been awared the ISO9001:
2000 certificate for the first time in 1995,
with renovations in the years 1999, 2003 and
2007.
Optotec participate actively
to all events of the IEC and ITU.
